First off, we meet you right where you are. If you need us, we're a text away, if you want solace, you've got it.

Chris and Tina are very thoughtful about the care of their guests, making sure to consider every need and give great recommendations for exploring the area.
A massage by Chris is a must! She has a magically relaxing approach that was one of the best massages I've ever had.
The Studio apartment is a cave-like sanctuary that was perfect for our peaceful meditation getaway. There is a beautiful view with a large firepit and patio table which we used for lunch and journaling.
It's a great sized space with a huge attached bathroom, fully appointed kitchen and very cozy bed.
Breakfast was delicious. Loved the homemade granola and the chickens are right on the property!

Enjoyed our peaceful weekend. We arrived on a gloomy day to candles everywhere and soft music playing. It felt like a spell was broken whenever we opened the door.
Breakfast was delicious! Apple cider mimosa-YUM! So many thoughtful touches everywhere. Rain was predicted and ponchos and an umbrella were hanging inside the door. Next time, I'm getting a massage!!

"Chris and Tina made us feel welcome immediately following our booking. They were detail-oriented, friendly, and informative. Breakfast was better than expected and we enjoyed it outside at their beautifully appointed backyard.
The bed was super comfortable and the whole space extremely cozy. They thought of every amenity including snacks and toiletries. Finally, the location was ideal for us as we were going to spend a few days on Raystown Lake. We will most definitely be back!!"

"What a wonderful treasure this place is. The place is conveniently located. We were able to everything and more while we were up. The place was close to shopping, restaurants, and most importantly the lake. All the extras that you can add to your stay were nice to have. We would say our boat ride was worth every penny and our boat captain was the Best! Plus included snacks on our boat ride were amazing as well. All the little extras that were there when we checked in were spectacular too. This is a was by far one of my favorite Airbnbs that we rented so far."

What a lovely place! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Pause and will definitely stay here in the future when I visit Raystown Lake. The breakfast was excellent and matches that of a 5-star resort, minus the price. I especially loved the little details, including the nightstand reads, robes, slippers, candles and the wine and snacks!
